Gondomar High School students train for local championship

The Urban Sports Games (USG) project is in full implementation phase, of which the União de Freguesias de Gondomar (São Cosme), Valbom and Jovim is coordinator. Escola Secundária de Gondomar is one of the local partners of this project, and yesterday was performed one of the training sessions for the local championship, that will happen in February, at the same place.

The athletes who participated in this action were students of the 10th year of Escola Secundária de Gondomar, guided by the Physical Education teacher Daniel Lacerda, and the training was programmed based on the App that was developed specifically for this project. The USG comprises three practical phases: training phase, local championship and international championship.

Highlight for the fact that this educational establishment has adapted a space to carry out the students’ training, creating a Box for this purpose, equipped with all the conditions for the practice of functional type training.
